PRofessionals & Coffee, is a volunteer collective that connects, at no cost, experienced practitioners of public relations, marketing, and communications with students, recent graduates, and newcomers to Canada through the production of virtual coffee chats.

PR & Coffee is an intermediate step between post-secondary institutions & full-time employers to provide a job specific training and practical experience.

Mission of PRofessionals & Coffee: Foster collaboration and networking between public relations, marketing, and communications professionals and students, recent graduates, and newcomers to Canada through the regular production of virtual coffee chats.

Market Segment: Students, recent graduates, and newcomers from the PR, communications, and marketing fields.

• Creator and administrator of Volunteer Manual and policies of PRofessionals & Coffee.

• Maintaining four social media accounts for PRofessionals & Coffe, reaching over 1,500 followers on LinkedIn.

• Management of the CRM database (Hootsuite) of all social media channels for PRofessionals & Coffee.

• Collaborating with a graphic designer to develop logos and working with a video editor to produce 26 coffee chats.

• Planning and organizing virtual meetings with 15 volunteers to provide coaching and guidance.

• Researching professionals in PR, communications, and marketing industries.

• Working with a researcher and executive assistant to develop a business plan for PRofessionals & Coffee.
